I will help your ward get great scores in their verbal, math and reading skills on the SSAT. I arrived in the US from India 17 years ago ago after having secured high GRE scores, especially on the Verbal section. Early on in my life, I realized I had a way with words. As time passed I a rich vocabulary that I found very useful in finding success in my educational life. Not only that it spurred me to want to get to the US, where I knew i could use my verbal and Math skills to my advantage. Today I realize that I could help others enhance their vocabulary, reading skills, etc. I was the only one in my family who ventured out to the US with the goal of obtaining a Masters degree in Computer Science. Since then, my passion has been to help others to go higher. That explains why I am here, wanting to help a deserving student do even better and get ahead in life by getting into the right school and moving further up. That said, I am familiar with the test and know how to teach students the methods for finding correct answers, especially in Math where students need to achieve a percentile score. I am familiar with the cut scores at many of the most prestigious schools in the nation. Over the years, I have developed my own methods to keep my language skills sharp. I have never let go of my passion for expanding my vocabulary and learning in general to stay competitive and also to succeed in life. I also offer training in: Java and Android programming Machine Learning and Data Science Functional Programming My Backround: I hold a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science, from California State University, Chico, CA , in the year 2006, with a solid GPA. I have over 13 years of IT industry experience in developing applications for the enterprise, the cloud and mobile devices. I specialize in imparting my hands on coding, development, and architecture experience that I acquired over the course of my experience.
Experience
I have been teaching Java programming for the last 1 year. GRE - Math - 710 Verbal - 690 TOEFL - 623 I have also taught a disabled 8th grade student Math, about 12 years ago in Chico, California. I excel in teaching, because I have the capacity to imbibe deep learning into a student. I am able to come up with more and more insights into a subject. I make learning interesting, engaging and industry-oriented.
