I am a first year Masters Philosophy student at the University of Missouri-St Louis. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Evansville in May 2015. My GPA was 3.4. I also majored in Cognitive Science for about 4 semesters, so I took many classes in Cog Sci, Psychology, and Neuroscience.
Experience
Last year, I was a full-time GED tutor in Cincinnati at a non-profit. I tutored all subjects of the test. Before that, I was a tutor at the Writing Center at the University of Evansville for two years, where I helped students edit, brainstorm, and format papers. I enjoy tutoring because I think one-on-one focus can cultivate a positive attitude towards education and learning.

Hobbies
Reading is my main hobby. I also enjoy writing, especially letters to my friends in other cities. I love coffee and rainy days. I run a few times each week. In the winter, I tend to crochet a lot. My favorite novel is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and my favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Right now, I pretty much eat, sleep, and breathe philosophy.
