Private tutor in St. Louis, MO
Education
Washington University in St. Louis, major in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology, junior year
Experience
Throughout my childhood, I was fortunate enough to have many great role models that shaped me and inspired me to be the best, hardest working version of myself; I hope to be a positive role model for the many local under-resourced children who may have never had one. For the past year, I tutored twin first grade girls twice a week and helped them with their reading, math problems, science homework, and vocabulary. During my junior and senior years of high school, I tutored underclassmen in biology and trigonometry, as well as helped them with their study skills in order to prepare them for their later years of high school and college. Furthermore, I have experience working with special needs children; for all four years in high school I was extremely active in Hand in Hand, a club that provides a time for local developmentally and physically disadvantaged elementary-aged children to interact with peers and enhance their social skills.
