I have three years of experience in education, and I have witnessed how making small gains can help a student become motivated and confident to learn new things. I instill this kind of growth mindset in my students so that they believe they can learn anything if they put forth the effort and believe in themselves. Ultimately successful learning is about developing learning skills, having determination, and creating a work ethic. I can tutor students in algebra, reading, writing, essays, literature, ESL, English grammar and syntax, economics, finance, study skills, public speaking, and test preparation for the ACT, AP economics exams, and others.
