My name is Matt, and I'm a tutor available for introduction to chemistry and general chemistry students. I earned my Ph.D. in chemistry in 2008. In college I spent a lot of time teaching freshman chemistry lab. After I graduated with my doctorate, I worked at community colleges teaching chemistry lab and lecture to students that varied from new high school graduates to working class folks who wanted to make a career change. I enjoy this work very much.

Hobbies
Currently, I teach chemistry lab and lecture part-time at 2 local colleges. I'm also available to teach introductory math and algebra. As some of you may know, basic math fundamentals form the foundation for beginning chemistry problems. I enjoy problem solving and helping students see the beauty of mathematical chemistry. I enjoy science and explaining the intricacies of chemistry to students who are eager to learn. When I have free time, I enjoy riding roller coasters at Six Flags with my family.
