I developed a passion for education while still in high school. Having great teachers inspired me to educate others and encourage the same enthusiasm while offering knowledge. I tutor American, European, world, ancient, political, and modern history as well as anything regarding essay writing. Knowledge must be taught, I believe, and educators have the responsibility of teaching in a way students understand the information.I attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where I earned a B.S. in History and took education classes for fun. My plan is to obtain an education or administration master's degree. I've worked with students for over a year, having observed a class in a middle school. I also interned at the Peoria Riverfront Museum, performing planetarium shows and educating visitors about stars, planets, and constellations. Also, I would connect science with the Ripley's Believe It or Not exhibit for children.I worked in a grant program at Illinois State University as well, visiting schools across the state with my supervisor and educating about electricity and Smart Grid technology. History is my favorite subject, as it's not just a bunch of numbers. Astronomy is my favorite hobby and I love to look through my telescope at night.
