Madeline H.

Private tutor in St. Louis, MO

Education

Bachelor of Arts in French from Truman State University, Summa Cum Laude, Departmental Honors. Pursuing Missouri Teaching Certification in French Secondary Education from University of Missouri-St.Louis.

Experience

I am passionate about teaching and I have taught and tutored in many different settings. I have been a reading buddy at my local library, a volunteer and mentor at three after-school programs, a peer tutor for college French classes, an ESL tutor for both middle school students and adults, and a student teacher in two high school French classrooms. I speak English, French and some Spanish, and I am always trying to learning new languages. I would be happy to be your conversation partner if you are looking to practice English or French. My goal is for clients to get to know themselves better as learners, to develop study skills and to become confident in the language. Every learner is different, so I try to find the methods and approaches that work best for the individual client.
