I am a tutor with extensive teaching experience. I can work with students on their writing, reading, European history, English, social studies, Spanish, and a variety of other subjects. I'm also available to help students prepare for their standardized tests. I studied Spanish, History, and Creative Writing at Oberlin College, from where I graduated and received my degree. I am now pursuing law school. I have extensive experience working with students. I've served as a Spanish and English tutor, worked as a teaching assistant in a high school Spanish class, taught Spanish to elementary school students, worked with high school students on their writing, and taught adults English as a second language. My tutoring philosophy is that if students understand the material enough, they should be able to teach it. And that's what I ensure. As a tutor I work hard to create a teaching method that is tailored to my students individual and unique learning styles. Through my tutoring sessions I foster a positive, supportive environment in which students feel comfortable engaging with the material and asking questions. When I'm not tutoring I'm typically working on writing a novel, studying law, playing strategy games, reading, or watching a movie.
