Experience
Over the past year I have tutored high school and college students in a number of topics ranging from college application essays to ESL writing and speaking, from history term papers to science fiction writing. I have taught college writing and literature classes professionally for the past four+ years, and continue to do so, but I find working one-on-one with students to be the most rewarding--there's only so much a teacher can do in a classroom, but tutoring allows me to address the needs of individual students and help them figure out the habits and methods that best suit their particular learning styles.
