Private tutor in St. Louis, MO
Education
I have a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in French from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. My master's degree is in comparative literature (specializing in post-1945 Latin American literature) from University College London in London, England.
Experience
I currently teach English (writing and literature courses) full time at Missouri Baptist University. I also directed the Writing Lab at MBU -- working one-on-one in a tutoring environment with students -- for 2 years before teaching. Finally, I have CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certificate from Cambridge University, and I taught English in China for two weeks this summer. I would be happy to help English as a Second Language students.
