Experience
I am a tutor who is passionate about education and volunteering in my community. I can work with students in algebra, calculus, biology, chemistry, European history, middle school math, U.S. history, social studies, and a variety of other subjects. I'm also available to help students prepare for standardized tests like the ACT. I am currently working towards my degrees in Biology and History at Washington University in St. Louis. I plan on attending medical school after I complete my undergraduate studies. I highly value education and I am passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential and achieve academic success. Every student learns differently, and as a tutor I use the approach that works best for the way the student learns. My goal is to make learning as least challenging as possible for my students. I am very involved in my community when I'm not studying or tutoring. I volunteer at a local children's hospital, play on my school's club baseball team, and I'm a member of the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. When I am not volunteering or playing baseball I enjoy watching sports (particularly football and baseball), reading interesting books, hanging out with my friends, and of course, sleeping.
