Emily C.

Private tutor in St. Louis, MO

Education

I graduated in May 2014 from Emory University with a bachelor of arts degree in music performance. I also completed all the pre-medical requirements necessary to enter medical school.

Experience

I've tutored middle and high schoolers in the past. I scored a 2010 on the SAT, 31 on the ACT, and just recently took the MCAT. I love working with students and am eager to help with a range of subjects. I'm applying to medical school now and have taken a multitude of science and music courses throughout college. I was a collegiate athlete, specifically captain of my cross country and track and field teams. I also performed in Emory's Symphony orchestra as principal violist. I work in a lab at WashU and recently published a scientific article linking type II diabetes and Alzheimer's disease in the Journal of Clinical Investigation. I helped coordinate a Global Medical Brigade for three summers at Emory where we traveled to Honduras to help those in need.
