Molly H.
Private tutor in St. Louis, MO
Education
Fontbonne University - BA, Elementary Education
Experience
I attended Fontbonne University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I've worked as a student-teacher, teaching first graders in every subject. Upon graduation, I began work as a substitute for elementary school, which I continue to do. I've worked with students from K-6th grade. Although I can work with students in all subject areas, my favorite subjects to teach are Math and Reading. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new. My goal as a teacher is to instill a passion for education and thirst for learning in students. I do this by guiding them to investigate and uncover new things, instead of transferring my own know-how to them. I can tutor Elementary Math, Reading, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, Writing, and English. I can also help with preparation for the SSATs and ISEEs. Outside of teaching, I love to read, garden, bake, and make crafts. I love the Cardinals and am based in St. Louis, MO.
