I am currently attending Saint Louis University School of Medicine, working toward a medical degree. I currently hold a B.S. degree in Science from Xavier University of Louisiana, with a minor in Chemistry. I have tutored through my college career, orchestrating study groups in order to break down some of the more challenging concepts that our course offered. I have tutored many subjects, but I remain particularly well suited to help with Biology. However, I have also had success tutoring English and helping to revise essays. I like to teach problem-solving strategies that enable students to feel confident about the work that they are doing. I see the importance of tutoring, as many of these strategies I know are ones handed down to me. They have helped put me on the path to medical school, and it is my wish that I pass them on to other students. This has also informed my decision to mentor high school students who would like to one day work in the medical field. I also volunteer at a student-run clinic. When I'm not tutoring or mentoring, I like to go to the gym and watch movies.
