Education
I have a B.A. in English from Fontbonne University, and am currently getting my Master's in English from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Experience
As an undergraduate I was in the English secondary certification program for three years before I decided I wanted to be involved in education in a way that did not involve a formal classroom. In my undergraduate work I have completed two teaching practicums. I've edited for several literary magazines and for a university newspaper. Through my volunteer work with Laumeier Sculpture Park's education department, I have had lots of experience working with children and teenagers.
