I earned my bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from the University of Missouri, then went on to graduate with my master's degree in Educational Leadership at Maryville University. I also have teaching certifications in K-12 Reading and 9-12 English. At present, I am working toward obtaining my doctorate in Education Administration at Maryville. I am a passionate educator, and have almost two decades of teaching and tutoring experience in English, reading, writing, literature, history, and Spanish. I have taught students and teachers in subjects covering a broad range of academic topics, and have also served as a debate coach for nationally ranked student debaters. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages and abilities, and I enjoy tailoring my tutoring approach to best fit each individual's needs and goals. My broad range of experiences means I am able to relate to and teach all types of learners. As a tutor, I am compassionate, determined, and kind. I truly enjoy helping each student achieve their fullest potential, and I find it greatly rewarding to help my students meet and exceed their personal academic goals. When I'm not serving as an educator, I like to cook, watch sports, and travel.
