Experience

As a recent graduate in college, I have learned to teach myself and other students to excel in classes. Teaching, has been a delightful thing for me to do. It is a chance for me to help students, understand them and help in the understanding of their classes. I have been tutoring for at least two years, where I had served as a teaching assistants for classes such as Biochemistry, Molecular and cell Biology, and organic and general chemistry. Also, I worked fro two tutoring organizations as an undergraduate (AESP- Academic Excellence and Student Performance and LEAD-Leadership Enrichment and Academic Development program). One of the greatest things that I have been opportune to experience, is the improvement seen in student grades and the excitement on their faces. I have tutored General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Mathematics, General Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular and cell biology. Plus, I can teach SAT math (760 SAT math score). At my teaching sessions, one of my goals is to attend to each student needs and challenge them to be better prepared for examinations and tests. This is done with patience and understanding. At first, I like to know the range of topics from easiest or well-understood topics to difficult or poorly-understood concepts. My progress assessments are administered through tests and periodic examinations. I took General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Calculus 1 and Calculus 2, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetics, General Biology, Higher algebra, Physics 1 and 2.
