Experience
I graduated from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. The college is a member of Teach For America Corps. I currently attend University of Missouri-St. Louis to earn my degree in education. I have always held education in high regard and chose my path in college to reflect that. In 2010, I began tutoring for the Normandy School District. I worked with students on a one-on-one basis. I want them all to achieve success and happiness in education. My style of tutoring stems from the belief that knowledge is freedom. Through collaboration between myself and a student, we can hold each other accountable to achieve the student's goals. My educational and professional background make me a prime candidate for tutoring in elementary through college level subjects, including biology, math, English, and science. I specialize in math and reading related subjects. I can prepare students for standardized testing, such as ACT math and SAT reading subject tests. I provide each student with a customized curriculum based on their individual needs, goals, and competency. My goal is to provide my students with the tools necessary to achieve their academic goals. In my free time, I love fashion design, rock climbing, poetry, camping, and theatre.
