Hobbies

My interests center primarily on exploring unfamiliar ideas and expanding my understanding of the world. In line with my engineering pursuits, I spent last semester working in an alternative energy firm to gain experience in renewable power generation. I am also interested in building design and urban development. In addition to engineering, I enjoy the arts and have a background in theatre, performance, and music. Before coming to Washington University I spent three years traveling as a professional figure skater with Disney on Ice. To pursue my interest in languages, I spent my sophomore year au-pairing and studying in Spain. I am best at solving problems when collaborating with others, which is what makes tutoring fun for me. I'm a goal oriented person, so I love learning about other's goals and encouraging them to achieve them. I look forward to working with you!
