Experience
Previous tutoring experience: - Provided academic guidance and homework help to students K-12 in one-on-one and small group settings. - Have aided students in reading, writing, basic sciences, intermediate math, and standardized testing preparation. Test Scores: SAT I: Critical Reading- 800, Math- 770, Writing- 780 Having taught in different settings, I know that each person’s learning experience is different and understand the importance of tailoring my teaching method to each individual. I do my best to create individualized lesson plans focusing on specific areas of need, and strive to make learning fun and accessible to all of my students, which I've discovered makes a huge difference in both their ability and desire to succeed. From personal experience, I know that having guidance from someone with more experience in difficult subjects can have a huge impact on one’s studies. My tutors were able to provide me with answers to questions I did not get a chance to ask in the classroom, helped me figure out different ways to look at a problem, and helped me maximize the efficiency of my studying, all of which were critical to my academic success. My hope is to provide this same kind of support for others.
