Attending Webster University, I am just about ready to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and an emphasis in Unified Science. One of the things I enjoy most is sharing my vast scientific knowledge with students. I've already had opportunities to work in classrooms and with students independently outside of class. For the past four years, I have taught specialized science classes in schools throughout St. Louis and beyond, and have been tutoring local kids all over the St. Louis school district. I also created and ran an education program with a local nonprofit organization. As a tutor, I believe students should have the chance to understand science in their own way. There are numerous learning styles and each student can have their own unique style and preference. By considering these, I can teach them important skills they can translate into other subjects and areas. I cover biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, life sciences, ecology, and English and reading. I can assist elementary school students up to those needing SAT prep help. My vast array of educational experience has paid off.In my spare time, I like to read, garden, hike, and run as well as play with my dog.
