Experience
I am certified to teach Special Education in the state of Missouri, for which I was required to take all relevant education classes, giving me a wide and deep knowledge of pedagogical strategies and philosophy. For the past two years I have worked as an ABA paraprofessional for St. Louis County Special School District. Prior to receiving my BS of Special Education in 2011, I performed internships at Stix Elementary in St. Louis city and Ackerman School in the county. I did my student teaching at Lucas Crossing Elementary Complex in Normandy District. Independently and as a member of a team, I have worked with a wide variety of students, ranging in ages from elementary to post-high school, as well as ranging in ability levels. This experience, along with the strong communication skills, patience and passion for learning that I bring to the table, allow me to continue to assist in meeting the educational needs of diverse learners.
