I am a tutor with extensive experience in studying and teaching Spanish and French. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State with a bachelor's degree in Education and an additional bachelor's in Global and Cultural Studies. Currently, I am attending Washington University to obtain a PhD in Education. I am certified to teach both Spanish and French at an elementary level all the way through a high school level. I developed a deep passion for foreign languages when I began tutoring students in French while in high school. This passion further developed as I was able to go on multiple study abroad opportunities while completing my undergraduate studies. I spent time in both Ecuador and France in an effort to become fluent in Spanish and French. This experience also helped me learn more about each of these cultures. I am very enthusiastic as a tutor because I have such a deep love of languages. Learning a foreign language can be an invaluable skill, and I love sharing my passion with others. I also have a talent for helping students prepare for tests. I am comfortable helping students prepare for both the ACT Reading and ACT Writing sections, in addition to helping students learn effective study strategies. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies.
