Experience

I am an enthusiastic teacher of math. I love to break down complex concepts into smaller, more digestible chunks, helping students to gain a clearer understanding. I also believe that making real-world connections can have a profound impact on the way that students learn, and I try to do this whenever possible. It's important for me to try and have a positive influence on student's learning, as that can be helpful for the rest of their lives. I love working with middle school students. I have been a math teacher for many years, and I very much enjoy it. However, I also see the value of one-on-one learning, which gives students a distraction-free environment. This gives them the personalized instruction time that many of them may need. The confidence boost that many students get from tutoring is remarkable. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I love to play the guitar, cook, and play men's league soccer. I also love to watch Premier League Soccer, or "football" as it is known there. I am also in the master's program at Lindenwood University, focusing on counseling.
