Education

Washington University in St. Louis - BA, Chemistry: Biochemistry Concentration

Experience

I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemistry, with an emphasis in Biochemistry, from Washington University. My own experiences have pushed my interest and desire to educate, and I firmly believe in my ability to help students improve and boost their enthusiasm in their studies. I've been tutoring for more than four years, and have worked with students of varying ages and levels. I also have helped my classmates informally to better understand complex course materials and improve problem-solving skills. I find dialogue to be essential in effective educating and learning processes. I make sure to communicate clearly with my students and make myself accessible to them in this way. I'm qualified to teach a variety of subjects in Math and Science, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Trigonometry, and Algebra. I can also work with students to prepare for SATs, SAT subject tests, A.P. exams, and ACTs. In my free time, I like to cook, bake, play tennis, and run.
