I am a tutor who excels at test prep and teaching math. I specialize tutoring in college algebra, basic calculus, and ACT/SAT geometry, but I'm also able to assist students with ACT/SAT writing. I'm also available to help students with statistics, chemistry, reading, biology, and a variety of other subjects. I bring experience working with a multitude of subjects to my tutoring. I'm currently pursuing my degree in Investigative Medical Sciences with a minor in Biology from Saint Louis University. While working towards my degree I have tutored students from many different grade levels. Through the group UrbanFuture I have assisted students in middle school with MAP test prep, and I go to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital to help out high school kids with their homework. As a tutor I make sure to assess where a student is struggling, and then help them using methods that work for that student as an individual. I am passionate about helping the students I work with succeed. When I'm not tutoring or working on my coursework I enjoy playing sports, spending time with friends, and playing music.
