Experience
After being away for some time from my original hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, I am back home and living near Forest Park. My time away from Missouri included being at school and also being employed for a period of six years in San Francisco. I have tutoring experience in elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, study skills and organization, accounting, and finance. As a tutor, I have an easy-going personality. My tutoring experience includes my present employment at Blueprint Schools Network, which is a non-profit organization involved with the improvement of educational opportunities for students. I work as a tutor helping students who are in their freshman year with algebra. Because I was very attracted to the education field, I decided to change careers from public accounting to the teaching field. I did work in the accounting field for nearly 2.5 years. I attended Santa Clara University. Presently, I am also helping a friend run the Education Exchange Corps, which is another non-profit organization whose mission is to improve opportunities in education for elementary school students who are underserved. In my spare time, I like both playing and watching a variety of different sports, including golf, basketball, and bowling.
