Experience
I earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish language and literature from Truman State University. I have a lot of experience with tutoring and teaching foreign language, specifically Spanish. Spanish is my passion, and I enjoy making it fun for my students to learn. I was given the opportunity to study abroad in Murcia, Spain for almost six months, where I attended strictly Spanish-speaking classes. This forced me to learn the language and speak fluently. My time teaching and traveling abroad enabled me to understand and appreciate Spanish all the more. Subjects that I have taught include Spanish1-4. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to assist Spanish speakers with their tax forms, learn English, and effectively communicate during their child's parent-teacher school conferences.Currently, I reside in Saint Louis, Missouri, where I hope to obtain a master's degree in the near future. My desire is that I may teach Spanish full-time. Beyond my teaching and tutoring, I enjoy making crafts, taking hikes, and thrift shopping.
