Experience
I'm pursuing an elementary education graduate degree from Washington University, along with earning my teacher certificate. My tutoring experience includes working in Chicago with refugees and immigrants, along with a year as an ESL teacher for adults as a member of AmeriCorps. I also spent three years doing language assistance for high schools and elementary schools in Spain. I can tutor a number of different subjects, but my favorites are phonics, reading, ESL, and Spanish. I believe strongly in the power of education, and I want students to appreciate what learning can do for them and their confidence. In my spare time, I like to study languages, ride my bike, hike, cook, and travel.
