Experience
I have an undergraduate degree in English literature from St. Louis University. My entire life I've loved English and my passion has encouraged to read as much as possible. I've even written a few fiction books. I have traveled to Korea and taught small classes on the topic of phonics and grammar. This experience has shown me how to connect better with my students and avoid many of the common communication barriers in the classroom arena. I am qualified to tutor in English and any topic related to it. I do enjoy teaching, writing, and helping my students excel at grammar if possible. I have the expertise to help my students prepare for the ACT testing and other standardized testing, as well. The key to being successful at these types of tests is taking the time to study in advance with a tutor that is willing to help in any way. I do have a lot of patience when it comes to working with my students.My hobbies include reading, writing, soccer, music, and watching movies. I enjoy time off because I do think it helps me stay more focused and better able to help students in the long run.
