Experience
I graduated from New York's Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Mathematics minor. I taught Physics for a year at the Bronx High School of Science, a school known for producing Nobel prize winners. I am now back in school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, pursuing my Doctorate in Physics. Physics and Math are my passions and I truly enjoy teaching both subjects. I think an effective teacher has to understand his pupil and, instead of reciting the lesson, learn how to lead the student towards comprehending the subject themselves. Learning isn't rote and recitation, it is exploration and, ultimately, comprehension. I achieve these goals by using the Socratic method of asking leading questions, and steering the student towards a solution of their own.I am happy to tutor you in Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Algebra 3/4, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Multivariable Calculus, Physics, IB Physics HL, IB Physics SL, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics I, Math, and Science. In my spare time I like reading material related to Physics, playing Frisbee, watching TV, and playing with our three kittens.
