I am currently studying at Saint Louis University as an English Ph.D. student. I received my master's degree in English from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. I served as a high school teacher for ten years and also have ten years of experience at the college level. In addition to my teaching experience, I have two years of experience working at St. Louis University in the Writing Center, tutoring students ranging from college freshmen to graduate students in Writing. In addition to English tutoring, I'm also available to assist students who are preparing to take the GRE.I believe it is important to develop a rapport with my students while I'm tutoring, so that students become more comfortable and willing to learn.
