As a proud alum of Washington University, I understand how to help students connect to the information of their chosen subjects. Students need to develop a system for memorizing information and strategies to efficiently work through problems. I utilize my background in Psychology and Neuroscience to develop systems that students can use throughout their lives. For the past decade I have been tutoring everything from general topics and literacy to Physics and Psychology. I've worked with students of all ages from third grade to college level. I am always so excited to see that moment when the material clicks with the student. I try to see things from the student's viewpoint, because I am a learner as well as a tutor. I enjoy working with many subjects including Elementary Math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Social Sciences, Literature, Spanish, and ACT preparation. In addition to learning, I spend my time reading, listening to music, sky gazing, and baking.
