Experience

For the past two years I have been working as a behavior assistant to fulfill my supervision hours for my certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. I work with individuals with developmental disabilities in home, community, and clinical settings providing early intensive behavioral intervention and behavior change procedures. I consult with other employees about programming and behavior change procedures, work directly with young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through discrete trial training, implement behavior change procedures, and coordinate and implement group learning opportunities. I have been trained in conducting the VB MAPP assessment and frequently use other various assessment tools. I have experience in presenting at parent workshops and various employee/parent trainings. I have worked as the lead assistant for an early intensive behavioral intervention clinic (EIBI Clinic) and I have worked in a number of elementary ABA classrooms and resource rooms. I have worked with students and staff on various behavior intervention plans, discrete trial programming, and various teaching strategies. With flexibility in my knowledge and experience, I believe I can create a tutoring experience that will be a great fit your family's needs.
