Hi, my name is Michael. I attend Saint Louis University School of Medicine and recently completed my Pre-Health Certificate at Cal State Fullerton. I previously worked as a tutor in the College of Natural Science and Mathematics, where I helped dozens of students in general chemistry, biology, physics, and organic chemistry. I have also completed The Princeton Review's SAT teacher training program. The student body at CSUF is very diverse, and I am extremely comfortable working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Additionally, I earned a 36 on the MCAT, placing me in the 97th percentile, and I’m well versed in preparation for all health professions school exams. In high school, I also tutored extensively in biology, mathematics, history, and English. I finished high school with a 4.80 GPA, which put me in the top 1% of my graduating class. I earned a score of 5 or 4 on ten Advanced Placement tests and a 2140 on the SAT. My consistently high levels of academic achievement are due to my dedication and solid study habits, and I know I will be able to impart my passion and dedication to any student I tutor. Before pursuing a career in medicine, I graduated from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and worked in the Transaction Services division of Ernst & Young, a “Big 4” accounting firm. While I no longer work in the finance and business world, I believe this experience has imparted me with a greater level of maturity and perspective than the average college student.
