Experience
I received a 35 on the English portion of the ACT, and a 4 on the essay portion. I also received many prizes for my writing in high school. I used to go to a tutoring center for reading and writing, but I had to drop out because I didn't need it...I finished the assignments so quickly and accurately that they couldn't believe it! This year in college, one of my essays was nominated for a writing award. However, the credit should go to my love of reading books. I have always been an avid book reader since childhood so being good at reading and writing just came as bonuses. I hope to show my students that these subjects can be enjoyable instead of painful and frustrating. If they are interested in the subject, the grade will follow...
