I am a rising Junior Biochemistry Major at Saint Louis University (SLU) I am currently a medical scholar at SLU, which means that I aspire to attend SLU medical school as well.

Experience

I served as a peer tutor towards fellow high school students in various subjects, including all sciences, math, Spanish, etc. I currently serve as a tutor at UrbanFuture tutoring in St. Louis, Missouri, where I tutor middle school students in the local area. I want to be a tutor because I feel my role as a student is to not only achieve a good education, but also primarily help others succeed. In helping others by teaching, I help myself and others learn the material throughout the process. The students that come out of the American education system are our leaders, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc. and we can improve our future by enhancing the learning experience. The relevant academic classes that I have taken exist within the IB and AP curricula.
