As a Training Specialist for a major regional financial institution, I am responsible for teaching and cross training over 100 individuals in various aspects of retail and commercial finance. My responsibilities also include coaching interpersonal communication techniques as applied in a customer service environment. When I’m not teaching I’m usually writing. At the office I compose training documents and procedural manuals. At home you can find me working on freelance pieces and my ultimate dream of a published novel. My instructor experience reaches back over a decade. I began teaching while still in high school-- instructing a range of people from the age of 4-64 in martial arts. I hold second degree black belts in Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do as well as ranks in Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiujitsu. I have a natural proclivity for the written word. I’ve helped dozens of people, from the middle school level to graduates, ace assignments they initially found daunting. During this process they realized the grade, degree, and goal they desire. My strength is expository writing (essays). If writing causes you anxiety then I can help. There are a few insights I can provide that simplify the process. I'm happy to edit papers and provide guidance when constructing theses and supporting arguments. I can help in other areas of English as well—anything from literary analysis to grammar and reading comprehension. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
