Available for summer 2018 tutoring. Math Tutoring for Visual Learners: I help students understand abstract concepts by translating them into tangible and concrete ideas. By developing their visual intuition, they will be able to confidently navigate equations and formulas, making the learning process more meaningful and less intimidating. As a designer, I can create different methods of visualization and interaction to suit each student, whether it be through sketching, paper models, or even coding—whatever makes learning enjoyable and effective. I also have a strong foundation in traditional methods of learning math and can adapt to the needs of each student. I have tutored middle to high schoolers and have worked in peer study groups.
