I went to Truman State University to earn my bachelor's degree in political science and government. As a tutor, I can assist students in a wide array of topics including but not limited to political science, government, European history, American history, world history, geography, social studies, reading, business, writing, English, Russian, critical analysis and reasoning skills, and test preparation for the PSAT, ACT, SAT, GRE, MCAT, MAP, and others. I like to share what I know with others and help them develop an appreciation of the subjects we study. It's very satisfying to inspire others to want to learn more. I build a rapport with my students so that we can be open, and I can focus on helping students build a full understanding of subjects as opposed to just memorizing information. I believe that this is a long-term strategy for success. I want students to take charge of their learning and be driven to succeed. When I have free time, I like to watch movies and television, paint, read, and play video games.
