--I want to be a tutor because I love watching the learning process! I think it's a great feeling when you've successfully explained something and someone else understands it. I also think that tutoring is a valuable way for me to give back to the educational community after all it's done for me.
--I've taken many history and literature classes as well as a lot of French. I also just returned from studying abroad in Paris and have very good speaking and written skills in French.
--I interned with a bookstore subsidiary of Oxfam International while in Paris, thereby expanding both my literary and French skills. I have also been to every major continent except South America. I was a National Merit Scholar and am a member of the Order of Omega, a Greek honors society for strong leadership skills.
Hobbies--Music (I play violin and piano and sing. I am President of SAI, the women's music fraternity).
--International Politics. I participate in Northwestern's Model United Nations conference every year and have taken many courses in that area.
