Education

Junior History and International Studies Major at Northwestern University

Experience

--I tutored elementary school children in high school --800 Reading, 800 Writing, 2300 overall on the SAT --5 AP US History, 5 AP English Reading, 5 AP French --I want to be a tutor because I love watching the learning process! I think it's a great feeling when you've successfully explained something and someone else understands it. I also think that tutoring is a valuable way for me to give back to the educational community after all it's done for me. --I've taken many history and literature classes as well as a lot of French. I also just returned from studying abroad in Paris and have very good speaking and written skills in French. --I interned with a bookstore subsidiary of Oxfam International while in Paris, thereby expanding both my literary and French skills. I have also been to every major continent except South America. I was a National Merit Scholar and am a member of the Order of Omega, a Greek honors society for strong leadership skills.
