Experience
After earning a bachelor's degree from Bradley University and a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, I first used my chemistry knowledge in industrial settings, and then began to teach chemistry at many different grade levels. I have taught nearly every level of chemistry, from introductory chemistry courses to advanced synthetic procedure classes. I love teaching. I find helping students excel and achieve their goals to be incredibly fulfilling. I can help students struggling with earth science, organic or inorganic chemistry, physical science, and upper-level chemistry classes. I can also work with students who struggle in mathematics, particularly algebra, and I am available to help students prepare for the math and chemistry sections of standardized and college entrance tests like the GRE Subject Test in Chemistry. Because I have taken these tests myself, I can empathize with how stressful and time-consuming the process of studying can be. I love all things science-related, but I also enjoy target shooting, scuba diving, winemaking, and gaming.
