I tutor science related subjects focusing on Microbiology, Chemistry, Physiology, and Anatomy. My number one priority is to see my students learn. I am an understanding and patient person. I have a vast variety of interests and experiences. I feel this makes me an effective tutor. I explain my subjects in a straightforward manner, which allows my students to enjoy their sessions and become successful. I do not lecture for long periods of time. I prefer to have consistent dialogue with my students and allow them to ask me questions. This helps me to determine if the student is having issues. I received a degree in Nutrition and Fitness from the University of Missouri, Columbia. I am pursuing additional education in the medial field to acquire a second bachelor's degree in Nursing. I was in the Army National Guard for six years. When my contract with the Army was complete, I spent time as a small scale organic farmer. I have hands on experience with farming and gardening projects.I really love to listen to music, and I enjoy playing varieties of music that include Funk, Rock, and Blues. I instructed electric bass and guitar for the past four years.
