Experience

I'm attending the University of Missouri - St. Louis for my doctoral degree. I love education, music, and math. I've been tutoring since I was a high school student, and I'm skilled at explaining things to people in ways that they can understand. I've had the opportunity to teach at the high school level, the middle school level, the community college level, and in universities, leading courses in math and the sciences. From my experiences as a student and as an educator, I've come to realize that the most effective teachers are those who enjoy the subject and are active participants in the subject's application. As a researcher, I study signal processing, coming up with ways to integrate music into everyday life. In my free time, I enjoy learning about other cultures and their food, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and riding my bike. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in algebra, calculus one through three, differential equations, geometry, quantitative reasoning, physics, multivariable calculus, statistics, trigonometry, and test preparation for the ACT, GRE, SAT, PSAT, and others.
